In the UK, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs) use clinical indicators to measure the quality of health services commissioned by CCGs and, as far as possible, the associated health outcomes.
They therefore help CCGs and HWBs to understand where they may need to focus their efforts to improve services and outcomes. This page leads to the new CCG clinical indicators set for 2014 with explanations of why they have been identified.
