Emerging evidence on COVID-19’s impact on mental health and health inequalities

In this article by Louise Marshall, Jo Bibby and Isabel Abbs from the Health Foundation highlight how different groups of people in the UK are experiencing the coronavirus (COvid-19) pandemic and the lockdown differently. One particular area of concern is the area of mental area and how certain type of groups are affected differently compared to others. Particularly susceptible groups appear to be people with a lower household income, people with children, people with diagnosed mental health problems and  people living in urban areas.
